For the Business Development Intern position the principal tasks are:
Prospecting: Contacting and building relationships with the key recruiters for the sector (extremely strong leads will be provided)
Sales: Ensuring that all relevant job offers are published on the portal (these will be free to publish until 01 October, so the ‘hard sell’ should not be needed)
CRM: Set up and manage the client database.
Account Management: Ensuring client satisfaction, Obtaining and responding to client feedback, Identifying possible upselling opportunities.
Product development: Identifying new commercial opportunities.
The ideal candidate should be studying towards a qualification in Business, with a commercial focus, and above all should have strong interest and knowledge of the online advertising or recruitment sectors
As this is a startup environment you should be enthusiastic, autonomous, and unafraid to make contact with external organisations. The work will be primarily phone-based, although some client-facing activities may be required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to be experience the launch of an internet startup, to have personal responsibility and ownership of the commercial success of new business, and develop broad experience in the world of media sales and business development.
Language: Castellano - Very Fluent / Native, English - Fluent
Location: Port Vell, Barceloneta (some home-based work allowed)
Hours: 10:00 – 14:00 Monday to Friday. (some flexibility allowed)
Salary: Some financial assistance will be provided.
